1. Pregúntate, «¿adónde quiero ir?» Muchos tenemos pensado lugares increíbles que quisiéramos conocer y ¿por qué no hacerlo este año? Averigua cuál es la mejor temporada para visitarlos y cotiza con tiempo. Cuando tomes tu decisión, solicita los días necesarios en el trabajo para viajar.
2. Revisa el calendario. Seguramente hay feriados que serán días cerca de un fin de semana. Por ejemplo, si el feriado será un jueves, pide ese viernes para que tengas una vacación larga y solo habrás restado 1 día de tus vacaciones.
3. Aprovecha las fechas importantes. La mayoría tiene familiares en el extranjero y usualmente tienen eventos (por lo general, bodas) a los cuales queremos asistir y acompañarles. Por lo tanto, define cuántos días de tu vacación serán para este tipo de viajes y otros días para quedarte por fines turísticos.

3 tips to choose your vacation days wisely!

Did you have your vacations a few weeks ago and you´re already thinking about your next vacation? Way to go! If you have the option at work to choose when you can escape from the office, then, you should consider the following tips:

1. Ask yourself, “Where do I want to go?” If you have always dreamed about visiting an incredible place, why not going there this year? Search when is the best season to travel there, quote and decide how many days you´ll need for that trip.
2. Check out the calendar. There are probably holidays that are on a day close to a weekend. For example, if you have a holiday on a Thursday, then you can perfectly ask for that Friday as one vacation day and you´ll have a long weekend.
3. Watch out for important dates. Most of us have relatives living abroad and they usually have events, such as wedding, in which we would like to go and share with them. Therefore, define how many days you´ll need for this type of trips and how many will you stay for touristic means.
