En las últimas vacaciones, el destino elegido fue Perú. Como mencionaba en esta entrada:

tenía la expectativa que Perú iba a ser una nueva experiencia que impactaría todos mis sentidos y…¡Así fue!
Fueron unos días de inmersión a la cultura peruana impactante. En tan corto tiempo estuve en la costa, en donde está ubicada su capital: Lima. Ésta es reconocida mundialmente, entre muchas cosas, por su gastronomía; la cual incluye una gran variedad de mariscos.
Luego, después de un vuelo corto, aproximadamente a 3,300 m.s.n.m, en medio de un valle de la sierra está Cusco. Esta ciudad ha sido declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. En mi caso, los paisajes, la gastronomía, el clima, las experiencias me transportaron a los tiempos de los Incas y la colonización.
Finalmente, Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) y Machu Picchu, localizados en medio de la selva en donde está una de las 7 maravillas del mundo moderno y también lograrás sentir una conexión especial con las montañas y el gran Río Urubamba.
Entonces, si me preguntan: «¿Regresarías a Perú?»
Sonreiría y diría «¡Siiiii!» 😀
Estaré escribiendo más entradas (¡Tengo mucho que escribir!) para profundizar sobre cada lugar y se animen a planificar su viaje a Perú.

Would you return to Peru? Yes or no?
During the last vacations, the chosen destiny was Peru! As mentioned here:

I was expecting the experience at Peru to impact all my senses, and so it did!
The days spent in this country were like a fascinating cultural immersion! In such as short time, I was able to visit, along with my family, the coast, where its capital Lima is located. Lima is worldwide known, among many things, by its gastronomy, which includes a vast variety of seafood. I just loved the food!
Then, after a short flight from Lima, the airplane landed at Cusco, located at an elevation of approximately 11,000 feet above sea level in the middle of a valley. Cusco has been declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO and without doubt, because for me it was like if I travelled to the past during the days of the Incas and the colonization.
Finally, one of the most awaited sites was seen by my eyes…Machu Picchu! What an experience! This lost city by the Incas hides so many treasures and you´ll discover by yourself why it´s been named a New World Wonder!
So, if you ask me if I would return to Peru; I would smile and answer: Yes!!! 😀
