Hace unas semanas estuve un Panamá, el cual me sorprende por su gran desarrollo económico, gracias a su canal. Además de esto, Panamá tiene otras atracciones que valen la pena conocer y que cautivan tanto que hasta querrás regresar.
Si regreso a Panamá haría estás 5 cosas:
- Ir de compras. Panamá es reconocido por sus precios bajos en ropa, electrodomésticos y una variedad de productos. Definitivamente, regresaría al centro comercial Los Pueblos y MetroMall, los precios son más cómodos que los demás centro comerciales que están en el centro de la ciudad.
Tip: La mejor forma de llegar ahí es en taxi y tomando el Corredor Sur, el cual te evitará el tráfico de la ciudad.
- Pasear por la Cinta Costera. La Cinta Costera es un malecón de aproximadamente más de 4 kilometros que posee áreas verdes, canchas de tennis, football sala y volleyball, máquinas para hacer ejercicio, una via para ciclistas, entre otros entretenimiento. En lo personal, amé correr por las mañanas ahí y por la noche, me encantó caminar desde el Casco Antiguo hasta Paitilla admirando el paisaje y cómo las demás personas en familia o amigos disfrutan sanamente. En época de carnaval y Navidad hay varios eventos que harán que olvides que caminas una «larga» distancia.
- Ver el Canal de Panamá. En mi opinión, el Canal de Panamá es una de las grandes maravillas modernas. Con más de 100 años y con proyectos de ampliación, el Canal se caracteriza por ese ingenio que permite que el Océano Pacífico y Atlántico unan al mundo buscando un crecimiento económico global
- Caminar en el Casco Antiguo. El Casco Antiguo es un Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO por su riqueza multicultural en su arquitectura, mezclando lo colonial, barroco e incluso lo francés. En una próxima visita, me encantaría comer en uno de los restaurantes que colocan sus mesas en las plazas y que tienen música en vivo. ¡Sin duda, sería cómo viajar en el tiempo!
- Visitar las playas. En las visitas anteriores sólo he tenido la oportunidad de ir a Ciudad de Panamá y Agua Dulce. ¡Por lo que he visto en fotos, las playas de Panamá son increíbles! Las recomendaciones que me han hecho son: bocas del Toro, Playas Blancas y Playa San Blás.

A few weeks ago I was in Panamá; a country in Central America, that keeps on surprising me because of its accelerated economical growth thanks to the Canal. Besides this, Panamá has many attractions worth visiting and that captivates visitors so much that you want to back!
If I return to Panamá I would definitely try to do the following 5 things:
- Go shopping! Panama is well known for its low prices in clothes, electronic products, among other. Definitively, I would go back to Los Pueblos Mall and MetroMall, where prices are better than the malls downtown.
Tip: The best way to get to these malls is taking a taxi via Corredor Sur; which will benefit you since you´ll avoid heavy traffic.
- Go around la Cinta Costera. La Cinta Costera is a public area by the Bay of Panama City with a distance of 4 kms wh
ich has green are as, tennis, Five-a-side football and volleyball courts, exercise equipment, a lane for bikers and other recreational areas. I loved running in the mornings here and during the night I was enchanted while walking from Casco Antiguo to Paitilla admiring the panoramic view of the bay and the city. It amazed me how many people either with family or friends enjoyed this place. During carnaval season and Christmas there are many events that will make you forget that you´re walking a “long” distance. - Watch the Panama Canal. In my opinion, the Panama Canal is one of the greatest modern marvels. With more than 100 years of its inauguration and with amplification projects being negotiated; the Canal is characterized because it allows the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans to connect the world. As a result, it contributes with the global economical growth. It is just amazing to watch how the boats cross the Canal!
- Tour around Casco Antiguo. The Casco Antiguo has been named an UNESCO World Heritage site. This place has a multicultural mixture in its architecture which makes the fortified city an precious place. In another visit, I would love to eat at one of the many restaurants that have their tables in the streets or plazas with live music. It would be like travelling through time!
- Visit the beaches. I haven´t had the change yet to visit Panama´s beaches. I´ve been told and have seen pictures of them and they look amazing! I´ve been recommended to go to Bocas del Toro, Playas Blancas and Playa San Blas
